“Sounds Of The Surf” bonze sculpture by Margie Jackson

Description

This is a Salish Woman in the traditional clothing woven from cedar bark and grasses. By her side is a her dog, used as a beast of burden with a load of firewood gathered from the beach. She has a basket of clams on her back that she has dug with the ancient digging tool.
This is one of only 15 sculpture that has won several awards artistic expression and quality.
