Vintage Life Size 1930's Caucasian Female Mannequin Head Blonde Hair & Blue Eyes
One of a kind!
She has blonde hair and blue eyes, highlighted/darker natural yellow blond streaks/shadows and natural light/sidle blushing rosy cheeks and lips. She looks to be a young woman in
her
early 20's OR late teens (18-19).  She's looking sideways at something on her right. Plenty of detail everywhere. She has the archetypal facial bone structure of what was deemed as the ideal attractive woman of her time (and still today, she's stunningly beautiful!).
I have one other of this type.
They were used to display hats in Department Stores, but can be
used for many purposes; fashion display, sunglasses, vanity vintage item you you and your friends can marvel and daydream at, etc.  They do seriously capture your attention; I imagine they would be equally magnetic to customers and/or house guests.
These vintage original mannequin heads are difficult to find and when you do find them, they are in sad shape or not for sale. This is a genuine vintage item from the 30s 40s -- not a reproduction. It's numbered at the back of the neckline area. Very rare quality made mannequin head; in addition to the detailed sculpting, the finishing precision artwork (flesh tones, eyes, lifelike flush skin, hair highlights, lips, etc. etc. etc.) is unparalleled to anything I've seen on the market. This and the other mannequin are very special.
Condition:
Excellent. As with many true vintage mannequin heads, you can hear rattling inside if you shake her, but she is in perfect condition and fully in tact; wonderful structurally and cosmetically. As the real deal vintage work or art that she is, she deserved to be professionally preserved -- rough edges/chipped paint was sanded down, primed and re-painted with the oils of life. Now, she will be around for centuries to come as a hypnotizing antique artifact gem.
