Description
I am in the process of doing serious downsizing and will be listing the different ceramic coffee/beverage mugs I have in a collection of over 400 mugs. Most of the mugs in my collection are as new and have never been used other than to be cleaned once in a while. I will be listing these mugs until all the pieces are sold. I am beginning with my U.S. military themed coffee mugs. If you are interested in collecting different ceramic coffee mugs and/or specifically U.S. military themed coffee mugs please take a moment to look at all the other mugs I currently have listed. I do combine shipping on multiple purchases so long as they can all fit safely within the same shipping container and are all purchased within a few days of each other. For your consideration is this handsome
United States Army, 13th Finance Group, Combat Multiplier, ceramic
coffee mug
. The mug has one side of graphics.
Please note; although I listed this mug as being "used" it has actually never been used and remains in almost new condition. I listed it as being used only because of its age and because it had been periodically cleaned in the dishwasher.
The mug is made out of light gray ceramic and measures approximately 3.75" tall and 3-1/8" in diameter with a 2.75" handle.
The front of the mug displays the
United States Army, 13th FINANCE GROUP, COMBAT MULTIPLIER,
crest
displaying a dragon atop a horizontal diamond (lozenge) shape with three (3) red swords in the center. The symbolism of the crest is as follows.
The lozenge shape is adapted from the Finance Corps insignia of branch and is bordered in red to denote service during World War II and Vietnam. The dragon, adapted from the Vietnam Service Medal, commemorates the unit's numerous campaigns. The upright red swords refer to the unit's three Meritorious Unit Commendations and the Laurel symbolizes honor and achievement. The red, green and yellow (gold) are the colors traditionally associated with Vietnam and reflect the unit's wartime service there. The three swords are arranged to suggest the unit's motto "Combat Multiplier".
The beautiful looking ceramic mug is in excellent condition showing no signs of the glaze and/or the ceramic being cracked, chipped or repaired. Whether you served with this military unit or simply like the looks of the mug's graphics, this is a beautiful looking mug that will arrive ready for daily use or to be prominently displayed among your coffee mug collection.
Please look at the photos closely as they accurately depict the coffee mug I describe and show exactly what you will receive if you purchase this mug. If you have any questions, please email me and I will respond ASAP. Good luck.
Please note, this mug will be shipped
from Texas zip code 77362
via USPS priority mail securely packaged inside a 6.0" x 6.0" x 6.0" cardboard box weighing between 1.0 and 2.0 pounds. I believe this is the best delivery option as it provides the most protection against possible damages and free postal insurance coverage.
