Traub TNL-12 Sliding Headstock Automatic CNC Lathe
This machine is in working condition, located here at Machinery Exchange and available for demos.
This Traub came out of a shop that made brass fittings its whole life. In good working condition. As of 2019 A new chiller unit for the electrical cabinet and new Z4 axis ballscrew with thrust bearings. All alignments have been checked and aligned by a Traub certified tech. Very fast with actual turrets, no T-slot tooling here. Very rigid. Traub still makes this machine, it is identical mechanically. New is 0K without tooling. Bottom turret has Y, X and live milling. Top turret has X, Y, Z axis. The backworking are non driven. Stationary. Mist collector and chip conveyor/coolant tank included. Please see photos for specs.

As with any piece of equipment, new or used, this item will require additional inspection after it arrives due to the vibration during transit. We recommend you hire a professional service person to install the machine, test it and perform any necessary service adjustments before putting it in to production. Please refer to the pictures for this item's cosmetic condition. This item is sold as pictured.

Open-bed freight trucks allow the item to secured to the truck bed.

We forward your emails to a freight broker who networks with all the major freight companies to find you the best rate.
We can act on your behalf for shipping quotation but shipping arrangement and charges are your responsibility. We will send you the freight broker's contact info to schedule pick up.
We will not palletize, skid or crate an item over 1000 lbs. These items are prepared for transit by wrapping the item's electrical components with stretch wrap and spraying down any exposed metal surfaces with protective oil.

hese items are with-in our forklifts capacity and we will load them on to an open-bed freight truck at no charge. We may charge a rigging fee if we do not feel comfortable loading the item and contract machinery movers to load for us. This is usually the case with top-heavy items, such as grinding machines.

Payment is due within 5 days of purchase. Orders are not processed until they’re paid in full. Our invoice will include a subtotal of item(s) purchased, sales tax for in-state purchases [CA], and a rigging/packaging charge if applicable. Please wait for a complete invoice with estimated shipping price before sending payment.
