ROSARY NECKLACE SILVER CROSS FACETED LAPIZ LAPIS BEADS OR HOME DÉCOR TOO
Lovely rosary necklace was purchased at a specialty shop.
Was advised that it
is sterling silver and lapis (store tag, that was discarded when purchased read, sterling and lapis).
There are no sterling silver markings on it.
Also, I am not an expert and can’t be certain the beads are lapis. They could be another gemstone or glass. They are a nice weight and are beautiful large faceted beads.
The blue color varies depending on lighting and shadows.
The last listing photo was held close to a window.
The facets in the bead are breathtaking.
Each bead measures approximately ½” diameter.
This is a substantial piece.
The necklace section measures approximately 38” long.
The dangling beads with cross section measures about another 6" long (cross 2” long).
There are 7 nice size faceted clear rhinestones in the cross (the number 7 symbolizes many good things in the Christian faith). In excellent condition. The silver may need polishing.
