    Description

    This is a heavy duty variable autotransformer commonly call a Variac, or Powerstat, which is the correct term since this was made by Superior.  Nameplate ratings are 0-120 or 0-140 volts, depending on the taps selected at 12.5 amps AC.  I checked the voltage output with an analog voltmeter, slowly running the control up and down and found no dead spots, which isn't surprising since I belive this was never used, but listing as seller refurbished since I checked it out and verified operation.  Email me if you have any questions and thanks for looking.
