Northridge Plume Agate Unpolished Slab: Top Multicolor Plumes and Druzy; Idaho

Description

A beautiful plume agate variety mined in limited quantities, this Northridge Plume slab features striking plumes in white, celadon, taupe, and peach-pink floating in highly translucent holding chalcedony. The plumes should stand out more as you sand this down during the cutting-polishing process. There are some nice pockets with bright pink and white botryoidal clusters that can be included in spectacular gem designs. This piece could be used to cut several cabochon gemstones, or for a similar lapidary project. A beautiful, collectible piece of this variety.
The photo which includes the measure/ruler was taken dry, the material in the other pictures was dampened to give a better idea of how colors and patterns may intensify once polished. Photos were taken under natural sunlight.
