Introducing the Melissa McCarthy ventriloquist figure! Actually, I’ve always referred to her as “Missy McMini”.
She’s enjoyed her time here, but since her friend, Ellen, has decided to move on, so has she.
She’s made many friends and plays well with others, as you can see in my pics. She helped Ellen perform her Ellen on the Shelf duties, welcomed the Joe Exotic dummy by dressing up as a tiger, just to make him feel more at home, taught the others how to play poker (which didn’t end well, because the Trump dummy is a VERY sore loser) and loved riding the electric movie screen up and down, over and over.
Missy is a one of a kind figure, standing about 24” tall. She was hand sculpted, molded and then cast of a durable resin (as are her hands). Her mouth is controlled via a trigger control on her poplar wood head stick, which is accessed through her back. Her wardrobe is based on an outfit McCarthy wore at CinemaCon 2019, right down to her red mules. Her body is made from white pine and poplar wood (much like the real Melissa McCarthy, I’m told!), with foam padding and upholstered in quilted fabric. Legs are a combination of wood, fabric and resin.
