    Description

    French art deco Female bust - carved from fruitwood and highly polished with a lustrous patina.
    This piece which is unique and one of a kind was created for a Luxury French Jewellery store as a display bust /mannequin in the window of the shop - It dates from the 1920's -30's.
    She is the epitome of Art Deco 1920's styling with her elegant lines & she displays the most gracious of curves from which ever angle she is viewed- whilst designed with a practical purpose in mind - she is a most elegant and tactile piece of wood sculpture and we have no doubt would grace any home.
    She is a charming and we adore her - quite petite in size - making her perfect to display on a small shelf, side table, desk or similar

    Condition -Good antique condition - she has a lustrous patina- natural polish - she has no damage , cracks or repairs - she is exactly as found -
    On her left shoulder there is some discolouration to the wood - we believe this to be where she was held to remove from the window and has occurred as natural wear overtime.
