Description

This bear was carved with a chainsaw from an aspen log. It stands 28 inches tall including the base and is roughly 11x11 inches thick/wide. It has been sealed with Australian timber oil and can be kept outside, however, i do not recommend putting it out in direct sunlight as this can intensify cracking. Some cracking is normal and unavoidable, it's just the nature of wood. This carving does have some cracks in it. The cut you see in the back of the sculpture is intentional. It's purpose is to help control cracking.
