    Description

    This is a vintage brass Corbins Bell New Britain doorbell. It is attached to an iron mounting plate. The doorbell is about 3 1/2” wide and about 4 1/2” long. It is in good condition, but it does have some wear and discoloration. When I unscrewed the bell from the mounting plate, I noticed the clapper was loose from the mounting hole. I am not sure if that is the way it is designed. This doorbell is being sold as found. I have no idea how old it is, but other sellers say they are from the 1860’s.
