1979 Vintage Modern Abstract Sclpture Brutalist Cubist Polished Aluminum WEINER

Description

This middle twentieth century creation of cast and welded (heliarc) aluminum alloy in the cubist manner ala jacques Lipschitz measures 28" tall x 14" x 11" and has pleasing polished surface with intentionally exposed welds and grind marks.  It appears to depict an abstract warrior figure in motion and is signed and dated on the base as shown.  Its composition is impressively dynamic so it changes dramtically depending on the angle from which it is viewed and the artist has had fun manifulating positive and negative space perceptions.  The work is hefty and in very good condition with superficial dust and dirt.
