    Description

Here is a beautiful carnival glass butter dish and lid manufactured by Mosser Glass from in 1976 as a reproduction of the popular antique Northwood Grape and Cable pattern butter dish. The butter dish and lid is a marigold colored glass that throws some nice pink color depending on the light. The butter dish with lid measures 6 inches tall.  The butter plate measures1 1/4 inches tall by 7 3/4 inches in diameter.  The lid measures 5 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches in diameter.  The plate is marked  by the falsified Northwood mark with an "N inside a circle", however the circle is missing its right side, purposely done by Tom Mosser to avoid copyright litigation. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage.  Lovely.
