A first-printing San Francisco concert poster with exceptional illustrated design elements (art by Wes Wilson).
Signage promotes the
Jefferson Airplane,
Blues greats
Jimmy Reed & John Lee Hooker,
and the
Stu Gardner Trio
performing at the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland Ballroom on March 10, 11 and 12, 1967.
Original spot black light highlights still apparent in eyes.
Bold and eye-catching graphics, showcasing the classic "psychedelic" imagery of the era. A spectacular original rock music artifact with outstanding eye appeal.
Note: This poster will be shipped flat.
Condition is considered FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. surface creasing with one 1/2" edge tear on left side.
Extensive corner pinhole wear (minimally affecting graphic areas).
We feel the graphic integrity of this example is still quite high (see photos).
Colors and imagery is still bold, bright and very attractive.
Overall, despite defects, we feel this scarce advertising piece is still in very displayable condition by most standards.
